Rear seat weight?
Searched, but it came up empty. Anyone know the weight of the entire rear seat section? Just wondering if it's worth it to take it out and sell it, or if they don't weigh enough to make it worth the time and loss of the extra seating (which never gets used anyway)
5 pounds maybe. The bottom section is feather light but the backings have a little weight to them. My back seats are removed as well as the rear seatbelt assembly. Hopefully that'll make up for the 12" sub in the back
Edit: 24lbs? Holy ****, I didn't think it would be that much.......

Thats the seat bottom, both seat backs, and rear deck. I will weigh it again later with the carpeting, spare compartment cover, spare tire, jack, and seatbelts.

That depends. My ITR is not my daily driver, and I have no need for backseats. If I go out with a few people, I take my Malibu. Since I never had a use for the rear seats in my R, I took them out. I wont sell the seats though in case I decide to sell my R.

I left the carpeting and spare tire cover in because I'm not feeling the 'gutted' look. Plus I gotz a little bass action going on back there too

Ricer.
Just kidding. I dont mind the gutted look, and I have no bass. I kept the carpeting in until after expo. I took it out to clean it, and just never put it back in.

almost 35 lbs....definately not worth keeping and that is why you need to sell it to me right now.
But seriously though....sell it to me.
Ok ok....its a joke. Nope...not a joke, sell me your back seat.

Yeah, taking those out is somewhat more of pain because you need to remove the whole black quarterpanel peice, but it would definately take off another 10lbs at least for the both of them. So thats something like 45lbs total
