It has been about a week and a half since my car got vandalized... and it's still in the shop. Theyr'e waiting for the parts to come in. Boy, do i miss driving. Have you guys ever been without your car for awhile? It's like asking an addict to go without his drugs. I feel bad saying this, but sometimes I miss driving my car as much as I would miss my g/f...if she were gone. It'll be another week and a half or so till they finish. Total cost = $2400 to fix her up. Sorry for the wussy post. You guys are the only ones who would understand.

 

I feel ya...It took a month and a 1/2 to get mine back....Now she's back once again because they replaced my rear strut W/a Tokico for civic's...how could they not of noticed the difference in length

 

How the heck can they screw up like that! I fear that a little bit... that my car will drive differently after i get it back. Seems like most of y'all have had good experiences with dealership service depts. alright, another week and a half and life will be good again.

 

I only drive it once a month at autox, unless there happens to be a track event which I also take the car out for. I don't miss it, but maybe that's because there's other toys to look forward to everyday

 

I've been with out a car for almost 6 weeks now.. I feel your pain. I don't even have another car to get around in

 

Your pain was felt by me a month ago when someone tried to steal the R. Was in the shop getting a new ignition box, etc for 4 days. I was damn near shaking and had sweats by the 3rd day. When you plant your *** back in the seats again it is a sweet feeling. How bad was the vandalization? Have a and try to relax.

 

i lost my throttle body and some interior stuff... could have been worse, much worse.

 

Have your itr stolen and see how it feels. I miss that car everyday. I wish I got anotherone but the setup wasn't right. My IS300 is nice but i would give it up in a heartbeat to be back in my ITR. Fucken thieves!

I feel you dude, I won't be able to drive my R till next weekend. I haven't seen or sat in her for a week already.
