When I hold the revs at 3k the motor sounds like it it making power in waves.
Only when my car is warming up if I hold the gas and make the revs sit at a point the motor sounds like it has a wave of power that comes and goes. This only happens in neutral or thats the only time i can hear it. Thanks for any help.

Sorry I can't help you with your immediate question but I don't think you should be revving your engine when you're warming up it up. That kills the whole point of warming it up ...

The ECU doesn't know what the engine needs during warm, i.e. more air gas or whatever, the ecu is guessing what the engine needs because the o2 sensors don't work correctly at cool and cold temperatures encountered at warmup. The ecu guessing is what makes the engine seem to be making power in waves because it will switch the air/fuel ratio to richer or leaner.
Sorry if that doesn't make any sense.

I dont rev it up when cold i know better than that i can just hear the motor become louder and quiter in waves after while it is warming up. I really have no clue what would do.
