Default OBD-1 or OBD-2 for hondata

I have a 98 GSR with an OBD-2 and was told that it would be better to use OBD-1 especially if i use a turbo setup. Can i stick with the OBD-2 or is OBD-1 better and what hondata system do i need for when i go turbo?

use the obd1 p28 or p06 ecu. they work best with hondata. since your car is obd2, you will need to get an pbd2 to obd1 jump harness
