i put a gsr in my eg coupe 2 weeks ago. it runs good but i have an air fuel ratio gauge and when at full throttle its all the way rich and my buddys b16 is just into the green on his gauge at full throttle. it has stock injectors and fuel pump but has a chiped ecu my friend said it was a mugen ecu (redline 9g). the only reason im using that ecu is because i have a eddlebrock intake mani on there and the stock one thorws the cel for butterflys. the motor has about 50k on it. could it be running to rich because of the chiped ecu.

 

Do you have a wideband? If not then your a/f gauge is ****.

If you have a preprogrammed chip then you are more then likely running rich even if your light show said other wise.

 

no wideband, i figured the af gauge was garbage. at high rpm the car has a black cloude behind it. thats why i figure im running rich. so most likley its the ecu?
