Your car came with 185/65-14 tires stock. Both 205/45-16 and 215/45-16 sizes are fairly close to the stock outer diameter. A couple of reasons favor the 205/45-16: (1) they're less likely to rub, and (2) you have a lot more tire choices in 205/45-16. But, aside from rubbing, either should work okay.
The "old" Falken Azenis RT-215 has been discontinued, and the "new" Falken Azenis RT-615 isn't available in 205/45-16, and won't be available in 215/45-16 until second quarter 2006. Since you want extra grippy tires for your high-horsepower application, I recommend the Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212. VERY grippy tire, similar to the Falken Azenis. The 205/45-16 is $89/tire, and 215/45-16 is $91/tire, both prices include free shipping from Discount Tire.

hondas normally take positive offsets so higher the number, the farther in the wheel will mount, the less chances it will rub against the fender. i would probably do the 45 but 48 will work too...just 3mm farther in. i don't think these will make the wheels look too sunken inward. 40 maybe cutting it close.

Yes, but also, the farther in the wheel will mount, the greater the chances it will rub against suspension components or the inner wheel well liner.
I'm not saying 48 mm offset is bad, only that the best offset really depends on the car and the width of the wheel. Too high a number can cause problems, just as too low a number can. You need to find someone who's tried it (or something close) to be sure.

guys anyone fitted this combo and encountreed any rubing?
setup again is: 16x7 (4x100 bolt pattern) and 45mm offset with 215/45/16 tires
will ther be any rubbing while driving straight or even when turning if the car is 1.5-2" dropped?
by the way i searched around and couldnt find a direct answer!

The problem for me is not rubbing.. is just not to change the geometry of the suspension.. OEM is 42? i heard 45
