96 civic EX with b16a2 and a jumper harness to run a p2t ecu. Would it interfere with getting REF?

i am going to get a jumper harness, but would that interfere with getting it bar'd?

ttt, also do i need a 99 si cat? can i use my stock 96 ex cat?

you can't run any jumpers when your getting BAR'd. you'd have to convert your wiring to OBD2 ver.B (ie. dash and engine harness). you should call your nearest ref station to confirm but i'm pretty sure they'll tell you the same thing. and as long as your cat has both primary and secondary O2 sensors fully functional, then it won't matter if its an ex or si.

if you have the converson harness just install it and try to pass it ... sometimes they want you to change your canister to the 99-00 si canister the cat shoud be fine good luck

you'll NEED to run the obd2b ecu. i dont see why the jumper harness will cause you to fail inspection. as long as the obd2 scanner port still works, it shoulndt matter. the only thing you have to worry about is the fuel tank pressure sensor. i think there's a fix for that now....

i was told by "ongking" that only the 96-97 hatchback didnt have the gas sensor? if i dont have it what is the fix for it?
