Default gsr laggs and then go(launch)

i have a 95 gsr with a b20vtec swap and when i first start the car up in the mornning and slowly depress the the gas pedal as i slowly accel to 5mph the car will seem to stall for about 3 to 5 second and then the car will go(launch) because the engine is trying to catch up with the the depress gas pedal. this happen when i still have the gsr motor too. when i did the swap i replace the tp sensor, ect sensor thinking that might be it but the problem still presist. any ideas to what might be causing that would help.

If it only happens during the morning it is due to the cold start. Motors do not like to run when they are cold and not up to operating temps. Once at operating temps the motor should NOT do that. The ECU is compensated for cold temps by adding extra fuel. However, it is not truly tuned at that temp. Do not give it full throttle when cold. "Baby" the motor until it is warm or harm can be done.

i agree on you there that it needs extra fuel when its cold but it still shouldnt lag like like that and then jerks. im assumming a bad sensor not sending enough gas to compensate so im going to try to fatten the tps sensor a bit to see if that helps. i also transfer most of the sensor from the b20z manifold to this skunk2 intake manifold so i know those are good. remember that at the time the car is still all stock, it had the issue already.
