Default Total noob question about getting into entry level turbo setup.......

Ok, gots a 94 Delsol B16 (stock internals)....

I wanna get the cheapest (but still safe) setup I can get

It doesn't have to be a butt load of HP increase, I can deal with 30-50 fine.

Also, I have no experience in this, what do you think a shop charges to install a turbo setup ?

any recommendations ?

greddy turbo kit, blue box will restrict the cars performance. should boost about 7-8 psi which would give you about around 90 hp give or take.

should be cool for stock, anything more then 10 psi, your going to need forged internals

WOW.....90 hp is more than enough for what I want....but 90 is cool.....

Yeah, I just wanna say I know "nothing" about installing a turbo kit......

And I don't know what the "bottom line" price is either

I noticed ZEX makes a Wet N20 kit that comes on automatically at Full Throttle.....its only like 500 something bucks...

is this easier to install than turbo? and safer ? better gas mileage of course.

I agree, turbo installation is pretty much bolt on if you get a good kit like drag that comes with everything prefabbed. the only concern for you would be the oil return on the oil pan (you have to drill and tap your pan, unless you buy an after market with a bung). for some one with little to no experience, and assuming you dont have and efi friends...tunning and relability will get spendy.

for the amount of hp your looking for n2o would be the way to go. heh, that rhymed.

I would recommend the Greddy Turbo kit. Its a great deal for the price as well as quality and fitment.
