Default Blue Box Need Help!!??

Hello, I just got all my stuff together for my 98 turbo GSR and I was gong to put it in today, I startd to install the blue box, Every thing is hooked up right (solderd every thing w/ new cold heat kick *** tool) i used the wiring diagram that come from greddy. Well I started it after I put the blue box in and the car started fine and warmed up fine but as soon as it got to open loop the car idled like shi* and when I rev it she sputters then goes, and when the rpms go back down it almost stalls. i called greddy and they said that the box was for a obd2 civic. Would this cause the prolbem. I also have a missing link and a 12/1 fmu laying around. could I use those w/out a hp fuel pump or am I just screwed? btw the turbo is not put in yet

The box being for a OBD2 Civic would not cause that problem. Unless you wired it up according to the diagrams for a different year. Your problem could be a cause of too many different things. I doubt anyone can pinpoint the problem exactly with the info you gave. Try removing the blue box and see how it idles. Process of elimination.

What do you mean without the map? The Blue box works with the stock map sensor. NO missing link is needed.

I had the blue box wired up with the exception of the map sensor
