if your not getting a CEL or failing emissions you should be ok.

Well if you car has over 100k miles it wouldnt be a bad idea to do. Im sure there will be a slight increase in gas mileage. Its up to you to deciede if the work to clean it is worth the increase in gas mileage.
whoops forgot to add, if it aint broke, you dont need to relace it, just clean it. youll know what to do when you see it.
