yeah what he said and you can get the conversion wires at rywire.com for pretty cheap make sure the vtec head is complete:vtec seliniod, and internals.
you also wanna get a agasket set for thermostat and head and exhaust manifold and what ever manifold your using stuff like this you really dont need the ecu you can just go and get a vtec controller which if your gonna vtec it you might just want one anyway to set the vtec for your daily driving and your drag racing so i'd just buy that but its your swap do what ya want.

Hey there, please correct me if im wrong (for I’m planning on a mini me and haven’t fully looked into it, just briefly in a deep sense), couldn’t he use a pm6 ecu if desired? I knew someone who had a b2 / z6 mini me on a pm6 si ecu with vtec activating on a vafc (if I remember correctly)….

so pretty much it would be better to just get the controller as well as cheaper also i took out the head myself so i got everything includidnt distributor manifold all that so can i use the distributor off the new d16z6 head or do i have to use my old one?

4 wire 02 sensor from sparkplugs.com $70
P28 ECU usally $120 shipped
4 z6 injectors used $30-50
Depending on if you want to wire yourself or you want someone rywire to do it $110-190. 110 for jumper harness, 190 for all wiring done for youand jumper harness
New OBD1 distributor is about 159.99 from am-autoparts on ebay (same person rywire buys their stuff from.)

first of all use your STOCK A6 INJECTORS they will work just find there is no point in using the z6 injectors.....please convert to obd 1 you will be much happier since vtec is more than an on off switch that just kiks in.....you need the proper fuel maps for the vtec cam.....it is not hard. you have to use obd 1 dizzy otherwise the bolts don't line up from the a6 dizzy......
