Default E-Brake tightness?

How tight is the e-brake supposed to be? right now mine is pretty weak. like it will hold the car in one spot when parked but say i pulled it while rolling to a stop, theres no comparrision to the main brakes. My freind in his saturn pulls his e-brake while rolling and the rear tires chirp. So how tight should it be around?

I think just normally pulling up on the e-brake handle it should go 5-7 clicks.

Honda's specifications say the E-brake must be fully engaged within 6-10 clicks

if you are constantly yanking on your ebrake, tighten it as much as possible before the rear brake pads actaully make contact with the rotors. but if you just use it to park on a slope, 6 clicks sounds about right. but remember once you tighten it, don't pull on the lever too hard because thats how cables snap..
