B18C1 N/A, get me started with...
Suggestions of who to look for as far as Rods, Pistons, Cams...
I've heard well from JE pistons/rods, and Sk2 Stage2 Cams...not together at the same time, but I've heard both are kickass parts.
My goal is 250hp N/A from B18C1 built.
Help me on what companies to look at, and what compression ratios and lifts and springs, and rods, etc etc etc to go with or look out for.
Any help is appreciated.
BTW, engine to be dangerously placed in the light-weight EF hatch.

All the major piston companies offer good pistons. I went with arias, definite quality, and they will talk to you to make sure you get what you need. Rods there are so many choices and most of them are good. stay away from old eagle rods, they used smaller bolts an seem to have a slightly increased failure rate. You need compression, head milling, piston dome, headgasket, other ways too. Pretty much everything needs to be upgraded for big power. Tuning is very important, this is one step make sure to invest in, parts don't make power without tuning. Read some old posts using the search, there are so many informative posts.

There are a lot of good options on all of those parts. You should just do your own research and make your choices. Its also a good idea to get the opinion of your engine builder.
good luck my goal was 225whp and I only came up with 222whp.
its a fully built type r I should have sleeved it and went to 84mm sleaves when I had it apart. but there is always next time lol.

Let me say that this isn't meant to insult you or anything, but 250whp N/A is a pretty lofty horsepower goal for somebody who doesn't even know what parts to put in their engine. If I were you, I'd start with a more reasonable goal (maybe between 185-200, which even still is a lot of N/A horsepower) and go from there...
If you're shooting for 250, chances are you're only going to end up disappointed.

I plan to build the engine myself, which is why I'm relying on some people who have done it themselves. I don't want to throw money at someone to build for me. I want to learn...
I'm just not certain as to how long of a rod to get, what bore to run etc., and what companies people have used, built with, and tested and proven...
PS-Not insulted in the least.
Basically, I'm looking for what ya'll have built, and how you did it..
