93 accord w/ h22 timing belt change
seriously there is no way to get it in there without scrapping and tearing the crap out of the plastic unless i remove the radius rod or axle which i really dont want to do, i am planning on just cutting it in half below the two upper bolts, so i basically will have a middle cover, upper lower cover, and lower lower cover, and then just running a bead of hondabond horizontally across where i cut in in half, anyone see anything negative about that before i do it...???
are you trying to do the timing belt with the car on its wheels on the ground?
i have done that timing belt job many times, with the wheel off, that corner of the car off the ground, and a jack under the engine to raise and lower it. i havent yet had to damage or cut up the lower timing cover.
