97 ek engine problem

Default 97 ek engine problem

hey i have a question guys i am sorry but i am not the most brightest guy when it comes cars but yeah....i check my oil pressure with my dip stick and i accidcentally forgot to put it all the way in n i drove for a awhile n notice my car did not pull so i pull over the side n check my engine i open to find oil all over my engine n engine bay ever since that problem whenever i step on my gas pedal my car bogs n alot of smoke comes out of my exhuast. can anybody help me pin point the causes??

Well take it down to a shop and get the codes read. Simple as that.

hey thanks buddy the problem was that i put in too much oil n i was running on 2 cylinder........i did the dignastic test # 1 cyl. & #2 was bad so i end up doing a tune up oil change with oil filter, cap & rotor, spark plugs n wire it my exhuast it still blowing smoke. i am guess my oil is still in the cat.......not sure. what could be the problem?

you cna still smoke for a while b/c even when you do an oil change not every drip of oil gets out..also if any oil got anywhere else, that could cause it to smoke since its burning off

not good at all, if all this info is correct, you possible have bad valve seals, and the oil is leaking thru there

hey but i can still drive my car greyish blue smoke is still coming out but it is decreasing tho then previous days
