how hard??
hey there, i'm new to the honda world and was wondering how hard it would be to swap a 96 D engine and 5 spd tranny into a 94 honda civic sedan which is automatic. i was thinking about getting this 94 but the engine is blown and my buddy has a crashed 96 civic but engine and tranny are good. plz let me know how hard it is.

Like the guy before you said, search. You will typically find more info that way.

obviously these guys do not actually use the search themselves or they would know it returns this for any search..."The search server is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." It has since last friday for me.
about the swap... you may want to check out the stickies on the opt of this forum. They contain a lot of info on stuff like this.
it's not difficult if you have some time, tools and mechanical knowledge.

The search was acting fine the other day, I think its someone flooding the search function again.
Anyhow heres the thread you NEED to look at. Read it thoroughly THEN if you have questions ask away/

3.C. Posting in a thread "search noob" or anything of that nature now automatically warrants a % drop. This is a violation of the TOS, as it is post whoring, and frankly we're sick of it. That would mean if you, RALPHIE and SLOW guy, dont have anything to add to the convo, or can at least direct the guy to the area to find it while you tell him to search, shut the hell up
