Passenger side auto down feature for power windows?
With the damn search being down I'm forced to make another thread.
Anybody know of a way to wire up the passenger side window do it does the same auto down thing as the driver's side? You know, press the button once and the window goes all the way down by itself.
I was thinking that a extra relay with a 5 second timer to de-energize the relay woud work. Anybody have an easy way to do this?

theres no way youre going to make it work from the drivers side using oem stuff. the relay is inside the switch itself that allows you to do that. you could swap the door panel and passenger side switch fram a rhd civic and probably make it work from the passengers side but again you couldnt auto down either windo from the opposite side.

I already have it kinda figured out. I'm going to get a relay and a 5 second timer. the timer will keep the relay energized for 5 seconds after I let go of the button to give the window time to roll down. Once the 5 seconds go by the timer will kill power to the relay, shutting off the window motor. In theory it'll work. Now I just need to get back to the states so I can put it to the test on my car.
