Default 96 Civic EX with B16A2 swap, i need a OBD2a to OBD2b Jumper Harness Right? What kind to use?

as topic says. About to do a swap on a 96 civic ex. We are planning to keep it OBD2 for smog/ref. Do I need a OBD2a to OBD2b piggy back? If so what is a recommended piggyback? This swap is coming out of a 92 hatchback. Are any of the mounts out of the eg fit the ek? or do i need 99-00 em1 mounts all around.

you will need to reuse your 2 stock top mounts, you can reuse the front a/c bracket, front tranny bracket. You will need 99-00 si rear T bracket. if you can find an obd2a 96-97 delsol p30 ecu you wouldnt need the jumper harness. but if you want to use the 99-00 si p2t ecu then you will need the jumper harness

Just use everything that is coming with the swap. There aren't any obd2a or obd2b b16a2 in the US. They are all the same. You'll need the harness and ecu...

depends what kind of engine harness you are planning to use. you can not use the obd1 harness that came out of that car, unless your a wiz at rewiring the whole thing. if you use a 96-98 ex harness you will need the obd2a to obd2b jumper harness. if you use the 99-00 ex/si you will not have to use any jumper wires. cause the ecu should plug right up. correct me if im wrong anyone.

99-00 Civic si is b16a2 obd2b. If the engine is from 99-00 you can use your 96 ex harness, and I guess a obd2a to obd2b jumper harness. As far as the mounts go you just need the rear bracket from the SI. You can use the factory mounts and stabalizers from the 96.

somewhat correct. he can use his existing ex harness, the plugs will plug into the p2t ecu (99-00 si) but he will definetly need to run an obd2a to obd2b jumper harness as 99-00 is obd2 b
