bad compression prevent vtec?
Yeah so today at work i was bored and did a compression test on my crx and found that two of the cylinders had 50psi and the other two were about 75. Do you think that could be why i was gettin a code 22 vtec oil pressure switch unpluged or maufunctioning?
Three of the pistons looked burnt and one was a goldish-brown. Do you think it would be cheaper to rebuilt that or buy a ls motor for $500 and make it ls-vtec?

No, that code is usually caused by an elecrical problem or low oil pressure.
