will there be any performance increase if i just put on a performance muffler on a stock tialpipe? or if thats even possible? idk.... I'm assuming i would have to put a resonator in the pipe too.

 

swapping the muffler for a straight through WILL make power gains, but dont expect much itll be minimal

you wouldnt get nearly as much power if you went with a complete catback system.

 

Why do you want to do this? It wont save you much money over getting a full custom exhaust. Are you just going for the sound? Just get a muffler with the same diameter as your pipe.

A cat back alone is a very small increase in power. I think you're wasting your time/money on just a muffler. Save up and do I/H/E all at the same time and you'll be much happier.

already have i/h but stock exhaust.....so your saying just go w/ a full catback system instead, because it won't be too much difference in money?
