does a pr4 have a rev limiter? what rpm does it limit me to? is it possible to have it taken out for resonable?

Yes the ecu has a revlimiter which I think is around 7200....not sure though. Yes when you have the ecu chipped you can specify to take it out. Only good reason to take it out is when you are making power above the limiter

 

Yes, all stock ecus have a rev limiter. The PR4 is from the Integra LS, so the limiter is around 7400rpm I think, not 100% sure. Removing the rev limiter isn't a great idea, as one missed shift can be the end of your motor. It's better to just raise it up so you have a safety net. Prices vary, but it comes down to you'll need to have the ecu chipped and a new rom made and put in.

Redline was 6500.
I don't know what the spec rev limit is exactly but mine kicks in around 6900-7000 rpm.
