There is a bit more to look into.

What about the bearings are failing? Are you spinning them? Or are they scorched, broken?

Also, a bit more details regarding the pistons, rods, etc. Compression ratio and amount of boost from the turbo?

also what kind of oil are you using? have you done any measurements for the crank or rod bearing (plastistrip is your friend).
Did you balance the rods and pistons? did you rebalance the crank with the new rods and pistons set?

Banjo bolt is 1 hole only. I can't image a 4 hole banjo bolt.
Do you mean rod bearing? The upper rod bearing bolt might have 4 holes for oil passage. Don't know exactly how many holes though.

The banjo bolts have nothing to do with the rods. A late model oil squirter bolt now has 4 holes in it rather than 2. They can be installed in place of the old ones. Changing these bolt will not fix your rod bearing problem.

Not sure why your rod bearings failed the first time but if you did nothing to the crank and just replaced the bearings, they will definitely keep failing over and over again. Something is wrong with your crank or aftermarket rod. You may need to swap out your crank and have the big end of your rods rebuilt/resized to fix the problems. It is NOT a problem with bad bearings.

I don't know of any company making oversized bearings for the S2000 yet. Let me know if you find them.

Detonation is my first thought.. it shows up on the rod bearings often. Do you have a recent log of a 3rd gear pull?
