Default anyone know if 15" Rota Grids clear willwood 11" big brake kit?

im going to have a 11" willwood kit on my car and i wanted to run 15" wheels. anyone have this same setup, i know its a slim chance but i thought i would ask before i buy a set of 15" grids and they dont clear the calipers. and i dont want to run spacers so thats out of the question.

Do you already have the brake kit set up?

I'm pretty sure that they won't clear. You pretty much need 17 inch rims with that brake kit. I have the same kit and I tried to put my bro's Rota Slipstreams and they didn't fit.

You don't need 17" wheels for an 11" kit.... I have 12 inch rotors out front clearing 16s.

Let's review...

15" wheels and Wilwood big brakes NO

16" wheels and Wilwood big brakes ------ MEASURE FIRST ---- Some will not fit and some will depending on the offset of the wheel

15" wheels fit over the wilwood 11" brake kit. i know this for a fact because there were 15's on this car with the brake kit. the question is do grids specifically fit in 15x7?

There's no freakin way 15 inch rims will clear the Wilwood Big Brake kit. They specifically say that you must use 17 inch rims or bigger, but I think SOME 16 inch rims would fit. My bro's 16 inch Slipstreams was pretty close, but no cigar. Just to be on the safe side, any 17 inch rim will fit.

Well, I'm assuming that you don't have the Wilwood kit because the calipers are bigger than stock. The rotors will clear, but what about the Wilwood caliper? Again, not all rims are exactly the same, so some 16 inch rims will fit and some won't.

man.. some people don't read...

-IT IS NOT THE WILWOOD BB KIT
-IT IS THE 11" WILWOOD KIT
-THEY FIT UNDER SOME 15s!

Original poster, sorry I don't have an answer, but I'm leaning towards that they do fit.

Someone asked about them fitting under Si wheels? Not gonna happen. I have the OEM 11" kit and have maybe 2mm of clearance.

note: i'm only basing this on the fact that the grid is a te37 copy. the te37 is known to be a pretty compatible 15" wheel when you've got big brakes underneath.

Hmmm, I just realized that my big brake kit is 12.19 inches not 11. Well, good luck with whatever you do.

There is no way it will fit in the front the with si wheels....they barely clear my 16s. Like 1 zip tie clearance.

i know for a fact that the rota track r with 40 off set will not fit. the 16s might.
the super advans will clear but the off set is too high and needs a 5mm spacer to fit.
the work emotions. or work emotion copies will fit the kit.
the rota c8s will also fit i seen a few guys with c8s

this is the 11 inch kit from fast brakes.
the grids might work but i am not 100% sure
