small inlet and outlet intercoolers?

small inlet and outlet intercoolers bad?
i currently have an intercooler that has 2inch inlet and 2 1/4 outlet and i have a fully built z6 w/ turbonetics t3/t4 turbo. i was wondering if i got 2 1/2 inlet and outlet intercoolers, would i feel any difference in power?
