I am looking into getting a turbo in the near future, probably a custom setup....I want to get about 350 whp total once I am done(probably a year down the road at least). I am thinking of going with a t3/t4 turbo instead of a t3/t04 turbo, so that it spools a little bit quicker, and I don't want to go over 350 hp cause it will be a daily driver. What do you guys think about that? Now my real question is that I am looking at intercoolers and I saw on this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=412590 a huge intercooler on a yellow teg....I believe it's dimensions are 28x8x3.5. Will a big intercooler help me out that much, or should I just stick with the conventional intercooler from like a revhard kit? Can using a big intercooler actually cool it off too much where you are running at the right temp? I can use any input you guys have.

I beleive a T3/T4 is a T3/T04, just shortened...

You should get the right intercooler for your application. A revhard intercooler will be fine or something like 22x8x3 will work out. That intercooler isnt 3.5 deep its only 2.5 i believe or 3.

Check out the CFM Flow rate of your intercooler to see if it is efficent enough. Ive seen the intercooler I have which is a 24x6.5x3.5 Spearco Make 521whp@28psi without any detonation or pressure drop, so im sure you do not need to go too big..

 

thanks....i figured a regular intercooler would work fine for what i want
