Default mESSED UP D16Y8 ENGINE ANYSUGGESTIONS??

I MESSED UP MY D16Y8..LOW ON CASH DOESN ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA WAT OTHER MOTOR I CAN PUT IN THERE WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE MY ECU OR TRANNY?

Another D16. Low on money, well what do you expect. Blow a D16 and wanna keep your ECU and tranny, guess what...a D16 goes right back in.

Oh wait I forgot. Put an F20C engine in. I hear they come cheap and they bolt right up to the tranny. Definitely worth the money!

Keeping the car FWD would be nice. But sometimes you have to work on a budget and convert to RWD. Look into a RHD conversion too if you're really thinking cheap.

Seriously though you should be able to get a replacement engine for cheap at a local auto dismantler.

Umm...by the way, what do you mean by messed up. Unless there's a whole in your block or head, it may be cheaper (which you like), to simply fix it.

You arent funny at all and just made yourself look stupid. But, the answer is obvious if you want to keep the y8 tranny and ECU...any Dseries vtec motor will go in. Doesnt have to be Vtec but the ecu will throw a CEL at vtec crossover point.
