i put a gsr in my 95 civic coupe this past weekend and after i let the car sit over night and go to start it in the morning it turns but wont sart and the check engine light stays on and when i go to pull the code it doesnt give me one and after a few trys starting it it will start. could that be the fuel pump? never had this problem b4 the swap.

 

does the cel go away when you turn off the ignition or is it a solid cel?

 

Is the ecu chipped? That's going to be the only reason, for it was chipped incorrectly, or the ECU itself is just bad.

 

if you shut the car off the cel goes away and YES the ecu is chipped. im not sure but i think its a mugen ecu i got it from a friend. so thats the problem?

 

also once the car starts the cel will go out. the cel is only on when you first try to start it and it wont after a few trys ( takes a few min) it will start and the cel goes out.

I know that if you pull the fuse for the fuel pump you will get a solid light.

So maybe you have a blown fuse.
