b18 88 civic problem...b18 has EGR?
i just installed a 91 ls motor into my 88 civic dx. it was converted to mpfi before the swap. i thought that it would be a plug and play swap. now the ecu is throwing a code 12. i see the egr plug but there is no plug on my civic harness. am i supposed to wire the egr to the ecu? could the code 12 be causing my car to have no power below 2k rpm? it kinda feels like injectors are sputtering until i reach 2k rpm.
could having an auto ecu be the problem with my low end sputtering? i have heard that using an auto ecu will feel weak. how do you know if the ecu is an auto or not? isnt it supposed to throw a code too?
