code 19 on p30 ecu...?wha?
i have a 94 civic vx with a 97 jdm b18c-r. i am running a jdm p30 ecu. the ecu is flashing me code 19. i'm not quite sure what that is but i think it has something to do with an auto trans. weird stuff man. can anybody help me? andybody know what it is and how to fix it? thanks

yeap u got it the code 19 is auto tranny code so u got a auto jdm ecu. get a 5 speed ecu. i heard that if u chip the ecu then the code would be gone, but can;t remember if it was for a p30.

Yup, auto lockup code. Are you using an auto tranny (I assume you're 5-spd) or do you just have an auto P30? Yes, you can chip the auto P30 ECUs, or if you want I'll trade you for a 5-spd JDM P30 ECU, as we actually need one for an auto swap .

The program inside the ECU actually has both auto and manual parameters, and there is a jumper setting to make the ECU behave as one or the other. An auto ECU can be changed to a manual, but you can't change a manual to an auto because the auto ECU comes with parts for the lockup solenoids, and they are not installed on the manual ECU..
