i just got a spoon lip for my eg but not sure how to put it on. is it 2 screws on each end of the lip and 3 on the bottom? should i drill the holes on the lip first then put it on? any suggestions or advice would help thanks...

 

Use painters tape to position it where you want it and then screw through both lip and bumper.

Two in each fender well and as many as you think you need in the middle to keep it from sagging. I'd say three, one in the middle and one on either side about midway.

does anyone have a DIY or HOW to with pics on installing a front and rear lip? My front lip came with no hardware or instructions and my rear came with (4) small screws (2) long *** screws and (2) washers...... No instructions and it doesnt seem to lign up properly? I looked through all the lip install threads and none of them were very helpful.

 

well its going to be hard to get the side ones because of the wheels being in the way...So turn your wheel when you are doing the sides.(ex. doing driver side, turn steeringwheel to the right. and vise versa.)

 

i used 1" screws with a button style end. i used 1 in each fenderwell and then 6 across the underneth side into the bumper. worked out great.. the key is making sure its even all the way across and its much easier if you have the bumper off

 

bumpers are off. Does the lip cover the bottom of the bumpers? and where do you screw through? There is no place to screw through on the lip/bumper...

 

can you post pics of the lip? The should be a top edge that sits on the bottom of the bumper.
