Ok, been having trouble finding a spot where I can Buy Newly manufactured axles on a same day basis, for my Teg. I'm In SOCAL, Los Angeles area, and just need help finding a good shop to buy axles that I wont have to worry about. Remans are killing me and I guess maybe I need to drive to a better Autozone?
BUT Any Help would be appreciated...Where do you guys buy your axles from, that have them in stock almost all the time? Remember: Prefer NEW axles, not remanufactured....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but "remanufactured" axles are basically new axles. All the wear items are replaced. The only things that are reused aren't wear items, such as bearings, boots, etc.
It's analagous to a "rebuilt" engine. It's new, and will perform exactly the same as a brand new engine from the factory if it was rebuilt correctly.
In that case, I usually go to Pep Boys/Advance Auto Parts/Autozone. Do you have those in your area? If one in my area doesn't have it, I'll just drive 10 minutes to another one. There are so many around here.

I was going to suggest that, but I'm sure he doesn't want to pay Honda prices.
To the original poster, if you're going to be breaking them all the time, why don't you just opt for some performance axles, such as those from http://www.driveshaftshop.com.
I know they're a bit pricey, but it beats buying them weekly like I had to.

Yeah, they have those stores here. But Remanufactured axkes tend to use the same internals, just the boots and broken pieces are replaced....and some remans are built poorly.(At least the ones in my area.) I'm busting axles not so much due to high horsepower or drag racing, but due to poorly remanufactured axles. I'm having issues with axles as I daily drive...nothing crazy, outrageous....just an average drive with occasional bursts out of congestion on the road.
buy a helms, break out the jack, axles can be found on ht. Oh ya youll want a mallet and 1 days work. but you probably already knew that.
