ok im just a s2k daily driver. not really think too much about taking it to the track. probably will when my friends ek and dc2 want to go. i just want a smooth ride, but want to get some coils for a more aggresive look. but i dont want to spend money on just looks i want some performance gains, but not lose trip confort what is the best for my situation? i was thinking tein flex, but i herd there pretty horrible on the track. tien ra's are a harsh ride. JIC magic is just too expensive. i herd buddly clubs are good on the s, but not shure who can clarify my situation. not shure what i should get. yes and i am a new s2k owner. just got it 3 weeks ago. keep in mind im still young and paying for the monthly on the 2005 so im pretty broke lol. help me plz. o and want to stay within the jdm guidlines or else my friends will kill me haha and i will kill myself.

 

The best street/track combo I've ridden on is Apexi N1 Pros, on a S14 240sx. Decent ride and good body control. K-sports are stiff and harsh, being drift coils. If you worry about a street ride, try the Espelir/Koni or stock shock combo that everyone raves about.

 

I have the buddyclub racing spec dampers and i absolutely love them!!!

At the softer settings they can feel stock but rest assured they become violent by cranking them down

I ordered my set w/out the upper pillow-ball mounts btw. I daily drive my car and did'nt want more noise, their not necessary for daily use imo and their about $300 cheaper w/out them

p.s. I have had mine for about 3 months and 3k miles now

i had KG/MM coilovers in my car. i sold mine to a fellow HT member. They were great for both street and track use. No complaints here. You may have a problem finding them, pretty rare. gruppe-s used to sell them but doesn't anymore

if you want something cheap, you can take a look at D2 coilovers. i got mine super duper cheap
