I currently have a b16 in my DA integra and a spare b18b engine with 60k on it. I have really been considering the swap but there are always mixed reports. so far only thing that im going to purchase to finishe the swap is..
-new itr oil pump
-gsr water pump
-get the ls rods shot peened
-apr gsr head studs
-apr rod bolts
-golden eagle ls/vtec kit
ls/vtec looks reliable but the only thing that confuses me is the oils squirters on the bottom end of the b18b. I know that vtec engines have better oil squirters due to the higher reving. What is the story on this. Is it ok to rev to 8000rpms with the ls/vtec

 

They dont have oil squirters. Only the vtec motors do. You can add the squirters but i think ud be better off finding a gsr block and using an LS crank.
