Default ls/vtec

i'm about to have an ls/vtec built and i've already got an ls bottom end. my question is what parts are used from the vtec motor to make the hybrid? does anyone have reliability issues with their ls/vtecs? thanks in advance

as far as parts needed.... you can buy the kits for the oil lines needed to be run from some websites i think jdm hondaparts has it, you will need an ls headgasket,i would also do a new timing belt and water pump. as far as reliability there should not be a problem. whenever i build an ls/vtec for a customer i recommend a vtec oil pump with a prodrive gear, i swear by those things, i would also invest into the block girdle if you are gonna rev it, you should have it. you can also invest into an oil cooler but that is not needed, but i do recommend it. you will also need the plugs and wire for the vtec and oil pressure switch.

Id also use a VTEC crank pully so it dosent spin your alternator too fast.
