Default EG Chassis: best rear subframe reinforcement kit

I know the EGs have much stronger subframes than the EKs, but I am going to be running fairly heavy springrates w/ a 22 or 23mm bar and I want to be safe rather than sorry.

BSQ vs Beaks vs other???

BSQ seems to be my first choice at this point, but would love to hear other opinions.

TIA.

380# rear on one car.
550# rear on other car.

If I had an EK, I'd be all over the Comptech / ASR / etc. braces that are built to hell and back. I have an EG with a stronger subframe and I'm not running stupid springrates. Is that really necessary?

stiff spring rates = not as much stress on the subframe from the sway bar.

So that settles the 550# car for sure - BSQ.

BSQ or Comptech/ASR/Function7 for EG w/ 380# rears. Hmm.

they are all weaker then the ITR subframe.

I say spend the 180 dollars on the comptech brace, and then you will not have to worry about your sub fram cracking and costing you a huge chunk of change.

Is the COmptech site the only place to get their stuff? It's 399

IMO, go with the ASR. It is more $$ but in the end it's well worth it.
$180+S and it mounts like OEM.
(price is from the site)

I completely agree. I like the way the ASR kit is put together and I really like the fact you can use stock bushings on the sway bar!

i 3rdly agree... i will be using this with my 26mm mugen rear bar.

but i used the bsq kit and a 22 and also a 23mm bar with flex coilovers and not issues with tear out at all, over 2 years.
