Default putting different pistons on shaved rods.

Hey. I will most likely be getting a LS block with rods that have been shaved to fit ctr pistons. Now when i do my lsvtec i dont want that kind of compression ratio so i would want to take those pistons off and put p73 pistons on instead. But what im not sure about is if those pistons would be able to fit and work on those shaved rods. Thanks for any help.

JDM ITR pistons should do just fine, just like the CTR pistons but less compression I think. Do some searching.

I have done searching, i am currently doing a search of lsvtec. which is about 926 posts. And i have been through quite a bit of them. I was just asking because I know pr3 and p30 and low compression which i need because the highest i can get where i live is 92 octain. And i know i can tune the ctr to have less potential to detinate but i wont be able to tune for a while so the ctrs must go. I just want to know if with the shaved rods can i fit pr3s or p30s
