the only other thing i could think of is going to a honda dealership and seeing if they have a factory manual you can look at. i know down here, the honda dealership behind my house, they let you look at it. if not, sorry man, no more i can tell you.

well, i dont think im gonna do this anymore, i think ive got myself into something i cant handle. im gonna have to get a honda repair manual so i can have the whole diagram of a tranny to take it apart, show where all the snap rings are, what gear i have to press off, and all that bullshit. well, if anyone wants a 4.55 for a d series, or has that diagram, holler at me. peace

There should be one snap-ring on the top of the case accessible through a plug directly above the countershaft. You will probably have to have someone either spread the ring, or lift the case off...i found it damn near impossible to do both. Once you get clear of that ring you should be able to pull the case apart....you also need to be sure the shift pin is pulled all the way out or the shift forks will bind. Also make sure you have taken out the detent ***** and screws from the side of the trans and the screw that holds the reverse idle gear as well.

Hopefully this helps, this is all that is neede for B-series trannies, but if my mind serves me...everything is pretty close to the same.

Warning, you will NEEEEEED a helms, or all-data printout of the internal transmission components if you plan to pull them apart.
