Default So here's my problem...

My car's been down for almost 2 months.I have a new exhaust (rsr exmag) new intake (AEM) Hood (OEM carbon fiber) Header (JDM 4-1 replica) Cat (Carsound ) sitting in my living room. My car stopped running and I was planning on just taking it out and getting it rebuilt. I didn't have enough knowledge/tools/time and couldn't find any of my friends to help me. so I brought it to this shop down the road from me and they said they'd do everything. They checked it out today and said my compression was like 100-20-110-80 or something like that, I don't remember them all exactly. but it wasn't good. and they said my head might be cracked, I was like wtf. My god father told me he could get me a japanese engine for 1200 shipped, I wasn't interested before but now I am.

First, What would you do, have them fix mine if possible. Get a B18A (Same as what I have now) or what Ikinda wanted to do a B18C1.
Second, where are some website that ship JDM engine, I just wanted to look at some reliable to compare prices.. Thanks in advance.

Rebuild's 1000 from the machine shop, and whatever the garage wants to charge me for labor. So I figure it'll be like the same thing if I got the JDM motor, which is better for 200 bucks more...

yea itll be much better for the jdm motor specially since labor probably wont be too cheap on something like that.
