Hey, when at idle on cold days, i start the engine and while it warms up, there is this constant clicking sound, i dunno what it is...when the motor warms up, it goes away or i can't hear it because of my big B18B1 hahaha...j/k....anywayz need help on this one. can't figure it out!

 

You might need a valve job.

 

Yup sounds about right... bring it in for an adjustment. Or... do it yourself. OR, find a fellow HT'r who'll do it for

 

probably the just the injectors. My Teg did it since day one, even after a vavle job was done.

 

I had a similar problem, and I took my car to Acura for a valve adjustment and poof, no more noise! Might wanna try that, it's included in your 45,000 mile tuneup if you're anywhere near that or you could be past it. Good luck!

those are a pita.. i did mine and i would so pay someone else to do it! but i could be just lazy!

 

It's easy if you have the right tools (valve adjustment tool, it's tough w/ screwdriver and wrench), and also if you're good using the feeler guage.

 

takes me about 45 minutes to do the job.. its a pain your first time since your learning also.. i've done this on my car several times (and we have more than 1 car).. so in my lifetime i've done this many times... after you get the hang of it.. its not that hard.. its helpful to have a friend help you out too..
