how is koni yellow ride quality?
I have H&R OE sports on the stock shocks with 130k miles on them
how is the ride quality if i went with koni yellow shocks on the softest setting compared to the stock shocks?
I just dont want too stiff a suspension
Or should i just get the koni reds if i want it soft

their not too stiff on the softest setting.. very close to stock.. maybe a little stiffer.. but not harsh at all... i've had my koni yellows for years and they are great..
on the softest setting for me the car was real bouncy but it rides real nice 1/2 to 3/4 btw i have 400f 350r springs and i feel the car rides better than stock. just rebounds fast though.
JCushing,
I have not heard from you since you put your GC's and Yellows on. You were going to let me know how you liked your setup on your car. I have almost the exact same thing GC's with 400f/300r, and am about to buy Yellows.
You got the Neuspeed Koni Yellows right? How do you like everything so far? Do the Neuspeed Koni's fit tightly with the GC's just like the regular yellows are supposed to? How's the ride quality for daily driving, and most importantly how is the performance of the GC & Yellow combination?
Thanks for the Response,
Jon

sorry i didnt get back to you. fitment was perfect but i had to take out the rear dustboot cause it hit the sleeve. ride is awsome. handling is great (i still have stock tires though) i haent really pushed it yet but im really pleased. no oversteer yet (i was worried it would oversteer bad). the only problem remaining is i skrape sometimes in the front (tire to wheel well). im gonna try and take some material out of the splash guard to make some room.
So how low did you set them, and so you think the ride quality is good for being your daily driver? So overall you are pretty happy with the GC and Yellow combo?
Thanks for getting back to me on this,
Jon

shocks were originaly set at the lowest and it was sea sickness inducingly bouncy. then turned up to half on all 4's it rode real nice. perfect for the daily driver id say. then i turned it up to 3/4 and it still rides nice just not as smooth. now that i have them on i can rewally notice the radius arms. car feels so stable now. overall id have to say i couldnt possibly be any more pleases with this setup. great ride and increadible handleing
