Buy an extra flange or two, and think about design. The first mani I made was a log style and was a bitch to install, and the oil dip tube ran right into it.

The second one I made was thought out slowly, equal length, longer runners (15 5/8"), easier to bolt up, and I left a nice area to still be able to check the oil. Plus I braced it from where the old header bolted to the block.

Plan ahead when you do it, you will be a lot happier with the results in the end.

good luck
