Ok theres a line that comes from my Intake manifold and goes to my motor right on top over the Valve Cover, what line is this cause the connection that goes to this has broken off, what problems can i have out of this, ive noticed that my idle goes up and down now to about 2000 rpm, please help!!

Thats the line im talkin about..
I drive a 1990 Honda Accord LX

 

It's for the pcv valve. It"s causing a large vacuum leak, probably why your idle is jumping up and down.

 

If i continue to drive my car like this, will it cause major damage to my car until i get it fixed? Cause i have no money and i just got the freakin water pump changed out and timing belt..

 

It's just a hose and 2 clamps.... ....a couple dollars fixed.....
....anyone could fix it....

 

A new PCV valve costs $6 and takes all of 15 seconds to install...I'm poor and I even had the money for a new one.

next time actually READ the post... =/

a NEW hose is about 2-5$ at most....

 

Even for like 10 bucks you can go to the parts store and buy a big silicone hose kit. That way when you(if) break more vacuum lines you are good to go.

 

Hey punk, YOU read the post. "THE CONNECTION that goes to this line has broken off...". He either means the nipple on one end of the line or the cheap plastic PCV on the other end (my logical guess) but not the hose.

Pay attention before you feebly try to make someone else look like a dumbass and end up turning the tables on yourself.

 

i definatley would get that fixed though, yes potential damage to you engine could be caused by not having the pcv valve hooked up...just a thought..

i see a black circle where the hose connects to the intake mani.. theres no clamp right there holding the hose on...

 

ok the problem has been fixed, really the only thing that has been broken is the PCV valve... Thanks everyone for ur help.
