i lived in new jersey for about 3 years and that is where i started my project 01 integra gsr N/A built. Now i live in california and the gas is different from coast to coast the question i have is because there is 93 octane on the east coast nd only 91 octane on the west coast what is the difference that it will make on my car. and if it is anything significant what can i do to correct it

i think i read somewhere that gas octane rating differs from place to place because of elevation and how it burns thats why some places have 91 premium and some places have 93 premium but it should work the same.... according to what i read
