Default 2 simple questions about removing caliper

1) do i kink the brake line after or before i disconnect it from the caliper, or does it not matter?

2) what size of clear tubing do i need for the bleeder on the caliper when i bleed the brakes?

thanks!

I would kink it before you disconnect the caliper, so you do not have fluid running all over, while trying to clamp it.

You can use any sort of vaccum tubing.

dont kink in. there is nylon strings inside of the brake hose that will most likely break if you kink it. thus resulting in a blown hose when you go to hit the brakes next time around. just crack the bleader screw open to remove pressure, close it, and remove the banjo bolt. if it drips it drips, just work fast. im sure you remembered to buy more brake fluid.
