to preface this, i dont have a turbo car, but im poor and i read a lot..

i read in sport compact car a while ago a how-to build your own water intercooler sprayer using home depot parts. you might check that out cause it looked really easy to put together and they showed some good gains and prolonged heatsoak on their front mount. i am sure the nos one will show descent gains as well though. from what i have read, any kind of intercooler cooling method is a good idea.. so go for it..

Actualy shooting it while your going down the strip wouldnt do much.

Why do you think it wouldnt do much on the track? my friend made a run without the spray, and his IAT's were 115-100 through out the run, the next run was with IC spray, and his IAT's were in the 60's!! a 50degree drop, should make quite a bit of exta hp

on another note, im in the process of making my own ic spray for my side mount, i bought a used nitrous bottle of ebay for $80shipped, (i'll be filling it with c02 of course) then i got the nitrous line for $25 and i bought a 10"x 1/2" thick pipe with threaded ends,($4) on the one end im getting an adapter nut for the nitrous line, and i'll just get a screw and cap off the other end, then im gonna poke about 8 little holes in it and jb weld it on my ic, then i just adjust the pressure of the co2 manually with my hand on the bottle. and thats the cheapest ghettoist way to do it
TOTAL $109 for ic spray
