Default Exaust DP to CAT gap.

hey guys, my Stock b16 header and downpipe wont reach the cat, theres about a 2in gap,

and its off center. meaning where the DP is suposed to meet the cat, the cat is shifted to the left.

I can pull it, to have to meet up. but the flang on the downpipe is turned so the holes dont line up.

I dont think the flange was cut and re welded. I got this motor out of a car that had an aftermarket cat, like one of those ebay ones.

Im thinking of getting a smilier cat. will it fit???

I want to bring it to the exaust shop, but if im going to need a new cat I would rather get one my self rather then the exaust shop getting there expensive POS.

i used a 94 integra cat and the gap was gone and the flange was in the right position, the integra cats are a bit longer than the civic, unless you have a gsr header on there for some reason because that header is even shorter than a b16 or ls header

I have also found the EG cat is longer than the EF ones and works great if u need a tiny bit more length. But the teg one i thought was the same length. I may have just had a teg cat the last time i made exhaust up.

would you recomend getting a Teg cat? are they all the same???

cause my CAT is black as hell, and my old motor was blowing oil like woha. so to save mother eart, and my MPG, a new one would be in my and our best.
