Need help in regards to removing a/c
I searched but couldn't find anything but since winter is coming around and my a/c compressor wont work anyways, i should just remove it cuz i heard it saves gas cuz the belt or w.e even though it dont work. Anyways, can someone provide a link on howto remove it or tell me how to do it, thx.
just cut the belt until you have time to pull the compressor. but youre going to have to disconnect the ac 2 lines connected to it and then take it off the block. theres probly 2-4 bolts holding it on.

Yup, but I would leave the system on there in case you ever want it again. Or if you wanted to sell the car might be a selling point because the potential is there. Unless your really **** about the few pounds you will lose.

yea, I bought the car in May and survived the whole summer without one so i was like **** it, make more room in my engine compartment, shave away a few pounds, and save some fuel possibly. Also, it will need to be removed if/when i get a turbo.
Yeah just release the presure in the lines and start un bolting and taking the presuriser off, pump, belt, ac radiator..etc.. Real easy escpecially if your not planing to install again. Took me a whole 2 min.
wow, two minutes? thats awesome, i am going outside to do it right now, lol. can anyone tell me how much i can sell the whole system for? its in excellent condition minus the compressor clutch is broken
