Default cataylic converter question..

alright..this is bugging the hell outta me.....i got a cat. converter from a redneck muffler shop..lol..okay...cuz mine was rattiling like crazy..put it on..its, 2.25...alright.. got it on...car, was, and still sluggish...is the b20 bottom, which is what i got w/a gsr head..sensastive to cat converter?..cuz 2.25 is normal, good size isnt it??..would a 2.25 off brand, and a 2.25 name brand flow different, even tho same outlet, and inlet????........also, i checked my records, and before, i had a random techonology cat, w/ a 3inch in/outlet.........so cats really make a diff???.. im dont wanna spend 270 on aother cat..so i need some help....thanks.

just get a test pipe, or if u want it to be quiter get a resonator. But this is just if u dont have emmisions.

get an ebay cat for like 30 bucks...they bolt in. if you have to do emmissions testing then put your other one in for the test.

with a B20 vtec you probably want bigger than 2.25 exhaust. also did you get a high flow or just a regular cat. and you way over paid ($270) that "red neck" took you for a ride.

lol! 99skunkedSi.............i didnt buy the one i got for 270 from the "redneck"..lol...i bought the redneck for 125..but still took me for a ride....but the one i had that was on the car, going for 270......im just going to have to pay that , since its what i had, and it worked...3inch in/out, hi flow........better than having a test pipe..sounding like ****.. u know......
