Default are springs the same?

i got a civic wagon a 1990 and i wanna buy a set of lowering springs but i dont know if they are the same as regular one for like a sedan or hatch. any help would be appriciated. thnx

usually it will specify what model it is for. but if the springs are made for an si or hf then no they wont fit.

wagon springs are definately different in the rear. the perch on the shock is a lot lower. i would not recommend you buy any sedan springs until you make sure what the differences and options are.

im not an expert in wagons, but i think there was some kind of combo that allowed you some kind of performance upgrade options, but i think the options were slim anyway.

i recommend doing a search in this forums archive using the word "wagon", a lot of threads pop up about suspension.
